The Oldham Branch of national charity, Epilepsy Action, is holding an evening meeting on Thursday May 31 at 7.30pm at the Walk-in Centre on John Street in Oldham.
The Epilepsy Action video, ‘The Right Stuff’, will be shown at the meeting to educate and to encourage people to challenge the various facts and myths surrounding epilepsy.
Epilepsy Action is holding an advice and information day in Leatherhead on Thursday May 31 at the Leatherhead Institute between 10.30am and 4pm.
The drop-in day aims to provide people with general information on epilepsy and activities in the local branches. Regional service manager for the South East, Susan Mistry, said: “This is an opportunity for anyone with an interest in epilepsy to come along and speak to us about their concerns, and to find out more about living with the condition. We will have a range of leaflets and information available for people to take away.”
