Epilepsy Action is inviting people in the area to log onto an online advice forum to discuss issues surrounding epilepsy and employment. The forum will take place every morning on weekdays (Monday to Friday) during National Epilepsy Week (20-26 May).
Maud McAuley, a member of the Newry & Banbridge Branch of Epilepsy Action, has won a national award in recognition of her work for the UK’s leading epilepsy charity.
The Epilepsy Action Branch Member of the Year Award will be presented to the Newry & Banbridge secretary, Maud, in a ceremony held at the branch meeting on Thursday, May 31 2007 at 7.30 pm at the Ballybot Centre, Cornmarket, Newry.
Volunteers from Epilepsy Action’s Bury St Edmunds branch will be helping to bring epilepsy “Out in the Open” by taking part in a local sponsored walk.
