Epilepsy Action Northern Ireland, part of the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is holding a workshop in Ballymena to help health professionals manage risk in people with epilepsy.
Churchdown Male Voice Choir is giving a concert to raise vital funds to help support the 600,000 people affected by epilepsy in the UK.
The concert, on Friday 27 April, is at St Paul and St Stephen Church, Stroud Road, Gloucester. It will raise money for Epilepsy Action, one of the church’s charities for 2012. Tickets are £6, with all proceeds to Epilepsy Action.
LeeAnn Taggart, chair of Epilepsy Action Northern Ireland Omagh Branch, has received the Branch Member of the Year Northern Ireland award in recognition of her work. Additionally, Epilepsy Action Northern Ireland Omagh Branch has received the Branch of the Year Award for the work it does as part of the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
