Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting an event in Chester to encourage people with epilepsy to make positive differences to their lives.
The event will take place on 28 April at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Trinity Street, Chester, from 10.00am until 3.30pm, and will include a free swim in the spa.
Ormesby Lads Football Club is hosting a 24-hour football marathon in memory of a past player. The club will attempt the challenge to raise vital funds for national charity Epilepsy Action. The charity provides advice and support to the 600,000 people with epilepsy in the UK.
Two Bishops Stortford friends are preparing to lace up their running shoes to complete this year’s Virgin London Marathon. Lisa Lawlor and Jo Coldicott will attempt the challenging 26.2 mile run on Sunday 22 April to raise vital funds for national charity Epilepsy Action. The charity provides advice and support to the 600,000 people with epilepsy in the UK.
Lisa, 38, and Jo, 41, are supporting Epilepsy Action as one of Jo’s eight year-old twin daughters has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy.
