St Albans duo goes the extra mile for epilepsy charity

18 May, 2010

Two women from St Albans, who have been affected by epilepsy, are taking part in the St Albans Half Marathon. Nicola MacKinnon and Beccy Pile will be raising vital funds for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Beccy’s son Luke has epilepsy so the two women wanted to do something to raise awareness of the condition and raise money to support Epilepsy Action’s work. They will join thousands of others in attempting to walk the 13.1 mile course on Sunday 13 June.
