Guildhall tea dancers show their generosi-tea

Tea dancers are preparing to put the kettle on for Epilepsy Action's National Tea Break at The Cambridge Guildhall on Wednesday 21 October 2009. This is one of a series of Tea Dances held at the Guildhall for senior citizens- but the 21st October will be extra special with money being raised for this very worthwhile charity, Epilepsy Action.
 
The event has been organised as part of Epilepsy Action’s seventh National Tea Break. National Tea Break aims to raise vital funds to help support the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK. 

Stowmarket woman named trustee for national epilepsy charity

A Stowmarket woman has been appointed as a trustee of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Jayne Cage was elected to the Epilepsy Action's Council of Management on 13 June at the charity's annual general meeting. As a Council member, Jayne will be responsible, along with 15 other members, for determining the policies of Epilepsy Action. Council members are also collectively responsible for overseeing the management of the charity.
