Last chance to sign up for Bradford 10k charity road race

There are only a few days left to sign up for the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k road race, which takes places on Sunday 21 March. The annual event has just been voted one of the top five most personal-best friendly races in the UK by Runners World magazine readers. 

Epilepsy Action is urging anyone wanting to take part in the race to sign up before the deadline on Sunday 14 March to ensure a place. Almost 1,000 people have already signed up for the event, with many more expected.

Celebrities doodle their bit for charity

Hundreds of celebrities will be showing their artistic side for charity as part of this year's National Doodle Day. Doodles by celebrities including Fearne Cotton, Michael Sheen, Dev Patel, Frank Lampard, Gillian Anderson, Catherine Tate, Ryan Giggs, Jo Brand, Lorraine Kelly, Rolf Harris and Sir Ben Kingsley will be auctioned on eBay from Friday 5 March. The auction will raise money for two UK neurological charities, Epilepsy Action and The Neurofibromatosis Association.
