New Public Relations Manager At Epilepsy Action

Aimee Bowen has been appointed public relations manager at Epilepsy Action.

Aimee previously worked as corporate fundraiser at Heart Research UK and, before that, in the press office at Brake, the national road safety charity.

She will work in the communications department at Epilepsy Action, managing the PR team to raise awareness of epilepsy and promote campaigns and fundraising events.

Winning Doodler Is 'Proper Chuffed'

A grandfather of seven from Pudsey, Leeds, has been chosen as a winner in this year's National Doodle Day competition.

At 78 years old, Geoff Spanton was one of hundreds to take part in National Doodle Day earlier this year - a fun event held in aid of two charities, Epilepsy Action and the Neurofibromatosis Association. Members of the public were invited to submit their doodles into the national competition.
