Breaking barriers for Purple Day

Until recently people with epilepsy have been advised not to take the tour, even though they are not at greater risk of accident or injury than in any other situation. The 13 people, the first official tour for people with epilepsy, climbed the 334 spiral steps up the Clock Tower of Big Ben just after it struck nine this morning. Katherine Ford, Andrew Hackett and Sol Nicholson climbed to the top of the 150 year-old Clock Tower on behalf of Epilepsy Action.

Epilepsy Action has a new website

We have launched a new website design. The aim is to make information easier to find. All the fantastic information, which makes this site the most visited epilepsy website in Europe, is still here.

The website has around 100,000 visits each month. We have over 300 pages dedicated to advice and information. You can also find out about of all of the ways you can get involved with us, from running a race to volunteering.
