Naomi James from Newcastle upon Tyne is taking part in this year’s BUPA Great North Run in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation.
The race, which is the world’s biggest half marathon, will take place on Sunday 30 September starting in Newcastle and finishing 13.1 miles later in South Shields.
A free public seminar on epilepsy is being held on Thursday, October 11 2007 by Epilepsy Action, the UK’s leading member-led epilepsy charity.
The seminar, from 7.00pm until 9.00pm at the Redcar Literary Institute, Lord Street, Redcar will give an overview of living with epilepsy and the latest developments in the treatment of the condition.
Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity, is holding an advice and information day on Tuesday September 25 between 9.30am and 4.00pm. The event will be held at Hexham Market Place, Hexham, Northumberland.
The aim of the friendly and informal day is to make advice and information readily available, and to raise awareness and support of Epilepsy Action’s Hexham branch.
