Epilepsy Action talk on advice services (Preston)

The Preston branch of Epilepsy Action, is to hold a meeting featuring a talk from Patien t Advice and Liaison Services (PALS) from 7.30pm on Thursday February 21 2008 at Preston Council for Voluntary Services, Guild Hall Arcade, Lancaster Road, PR1 1HR.

Jane Collinson, PALS Officer from Preston and Chorley Hospital, will be providing people with the opportunity to find out more about PALS and the services they offer.

Chrysalis Day Nursery doodle their way to success (Northwich)

Pupils at Chrysalis Day Nursery in Gadbrook Park, Northwich, have been named Northern nursery school winners in this year’s National Doodle Day competition.

National Doodle Day took place earlier this year in aid of Epilepsy Action and the Neurofibromatosis Association. Members of the public were invited to submit doodles into a national competition. The judging of the various categories was carried out by actor, author and Doodle Day Patron, Maureen Lipman. The work of all the winners is displayed in the Hall of Fame on the National Doodle Day website.
