A Sale man, who has epilepsy, will trek along the length of Hadrian’s Wall, Northumberland, to raise money for national charity Epilepsy Action.
Joe Stevenson, 22, will walk 25 miles from Chollerford, Northumberland, to Gilsland, Cumbria, across two days. Joe is taking on the challenge for Epilepsy Action because he has epilepsy.
A Bury woman, who has epilepsy, is preparing to pull on her running shoes and take part in the BUPA 10k Great Manchester Run. Hannah Gayne, 19, will raise vital funds for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
The BUPA Great Manchester Run, on Sunday 15 May is an annual 10k run, held through the streets of Manchester city centre.
Gordon Smith, stalwart of the Stockport Branch of Epilepsy Action, has won a national award in recognition of his work for the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
The Epilepsy Action Branch Member of the Year Award will be presented to Gordon by Mike Harnor, an Epilepsy Action trustee, at the branch meeting on Wednesday 4 May at 7.00pm, at Quakers Meeting House, Cooper Street, Stockport.
