Milnthorpe Tea And Coffee Morning For Charity

Nicola Ridley of Milnthorpe will be taking part in Epilepsy Action’s National Tea Break by holding a tea and coffee morning on Saturday October 25.

The event will take place from 10.00am to 12.00pm at St Thomas’ Church in the village, and is open to anyone wanting to join in the fun. There’ll be tea, coffee and cake for sale to help raise vital funds for the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.

Epilepsy Seminar In Bolton

Epilepsy Action is holding a meeting on Wednesday July 18 with a view to forming a new branch in Bolton to provide support for people living with epilepsy in the area.

The meeting, entitled “Living with Epilepsy”, will run from 7.00pm-9.00pm at the Walker Suite, Victoria Hall, 37-39 Knowsley Street, Bolton, and will feature a talk from Annie Thompson, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager for north west England and Yorkshire. The seminar will also include an informative DVD and discussion about separating epilepsy facts from fiction.
