Epilepsy Action Omagh Branch holds epilepsy awareness day

The Omagh Branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting an information day on Thursday 2 September 2010.

The event will take place at Public Services Centre, Omagh, from 10.30am to 2.30pm, and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.

There will be an opportunity to take away epilepsy information on a range of subjects. LeeAnn Taggart, vice chair of the Omagh Branch will be present along with the regional services manager for Northern Ireland, Morina Clarke.

Strabane veterinary clinic supports Omagh epilepsy group

A Strabane veterinary practice has presented a cheque for £400 to the Omagh Branch of UK charity Epilepsy Action. 

The staff at Parkview Veterinary Clinic raised the money by hosting a dog show at the practice. The cheque was presented to Coleen Keys, Anne Doherty and LeeAnn Taggart from the Omagh Branch of Epilepsy Action. The money will go to support people across Omagh and Strabane who have been affected by epilepsy.
