Professionals speak at an ‘epilepsy in children’ seminar in Antrim

The Antrim branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a seminar dealing with epilepsy in children on Wednesday 28 April.

The event will take place at Antrim Civic Centre, Stiles Way, Antrim from 6.30pm to 9.00pm and is open to families of children or anyone with an interest in epilepsy.

Llanelli Branch recognised for Llanelli being the most epilepsy aware town in the UK

Llanelli Branch of Epilepsy Action has won two national awards in recognition of its work for the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity. People from Llanelli are invited to attend the presentations and celebrate the branch’s sixteenth birthday.

Wrexham mum organises disco fundraiser for epilepsy charity

A Wrexham mum, whose son has epilepsy, is organising a charity fundraiser to raise vital funds for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Sandra Griffiths, 46, has organised the event with the help of her son, Thomas, who is 17. Thomas had his first seizure when he was 10 years old. The event takes place on Saturday 27 March at Flexys Community Hall, Cefnmawr. There will be a disco and popular local singers Ricky Vaughan and Jessica Lane will also be performing, donating their time for free.
