Epilepsy information morning in Cardiff

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a seminar for people who have been newly diagnosed with the condition.

The event will take place on Saturday 9 October at the Angel Hotel, Castle Street, Cardiff, from 9.30am to 1.00pm. It is aimed at people who have been newly diagnosed with epilepsy within the last year, and their families. Donations towards the cost of the event will be welcome. 

Professionals review 60 years of progress at Belfast epilepsy conference

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a conference in Belfast, covering many aspects epilepsy and celebrating Epilepsy Action’s Diamond Jubilee, or 60th birthday. 

The event will take place on Saturday 2 October at the Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, from 9.30am to 3.45pm, and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.

Llandudno man named trustee for national epilepsy charity

A Llandudno man has been elected as a trustee of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

Ian Walker was elected to Epilepsy Action's Council of Management on 20 July at the charity's annual general meeting. As a Council member, Ian is responsible, along with 15 other members, for determining the policies of Epilepsy Action. Council members are also collectively responsible for overseeing the management of the charity.
