Nicki walks her way to charity ‘wonga’

A Harlow woman, whose sister tragically died after an epileptic seizure, is preparing to raise serious ‘wonga’ for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity in memory of her sister Tania Knight.

Nicki Walker has organised an Epilepsy Action Wonga Walk through Lea Valley Park, near Harlow at 10.30am on Sunday 11 July. It is hoped 40 walkers will complete the six- mile route, which starts and finishes at the park’s car park.  The walk is suitable for all abilities and route maps will be provided.

Tunbridge Wells group hold epilepsy meeting to celebrate National Epilepsy Week (13 – 19 June)

The Tunbridge Wells branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting an information evening on 17 June 2010.

The event will take place at The Camden Centre, Market Square, Royal Tunbridge Wells, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.
