Marie Edgar has been appointed regional services manager in south east England for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
Based in Hornchurch, Havering, Marie will be responsible for developing and managing community-based services for people with epilepsy and their families. She will be working closely with a network of south east Epilepsy Action branches as part of her work in the area.
The Mid Essex branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is holding an advice and information day on Saturday 27 June to support people affected by epilepsy in the area.
The event will take place from 9.00am to 5.00pm at High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Exchange Way, Chelmsford. There’ll be a display stand with a variety of information available, and members of the Mid Essex branch will be there to offer advice and information relating to epilepsy.
Gary Guinness from Gosport is taking part in the Flora London Marathon on Sunday 26 April in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
Gary will be among thousands to attempt the challenging 26.2 mile run in a bid to help support the 456,000 people living with epilepsy in the UK.
