Epilepsy Open Advice Meeting In Southend-On-Sea

The Southend branch of Epilepsy Action is to hold an informative open meeting on Thursday September 18 with the aim of supporting people affected by epilepsy in the area.

The event will run from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at the SAVS Centre on Alexandra Street, Southend-on-Sea and will feature a talk from epilepsy specialist nurse; Stephen Williams from the Southend University Hospital NHS Trust. Topics covered will include seizure control and epilepsy medication.

Orsett Dinner Dance In Aid Of Epilepsy

Dianna Piper from Grays, Essex will be holding a spectacular night of entertainment in aid of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member led epilepsy charity.

The dinner dance will be held at Orsett Hall, Orsett, Essex on Friday October 17 at 8.00pm. With a three course dinner, charity auction and raffle, live music from The Copycats and The Squirrels, and a disco for you to dance the night away, there’ll be something for everyone!

New Epilepsy Action Branch Meets In Chichester

Epilepsy Action looks set to establish a Chichester branch to support people living with epilepsy in the area. This follows an initial meeting held to gauge levels of support.

The branch's opening meeting will take place from 7.30 until 9.30pm on Tuesday August 19 at Friend's Meeting House, Priory Road, Chichester, West Sussex. It is hoped that people interested in finding out more about the condition, or becoming involved in the running of a branch, will come along to this informal event.
