The North Devon branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is holding a seminar on Saturday November 1, to help support people living with the condition in the region.
Successful songwriter Guy Stoker and his brother acclaimed guitarist, Gavin Richardson, are reuniting after a decade to perform a charity concert in Ilfracombe in aid of Epilepsy Action.
The concert, called “I’m still standing”, will take place on October 24 2008 at the Landmark Pavilion Theatre, Ilfracombe, North Devon.
Marianne Mortimer from Salisbury is helping to bring epilepsy ‘Out in the Open’ by holding a sponsored walk in aid of Epilepsy Action.
The event will take place on May 18 and will be one of many ‘Out in the Open’ sponsored walks being held across the country to raise funds and celebrate National Epilepsy Week (May 18-24).
