Taunton Epilepsy Seminar

A free public seminar on epilepsy will be held on Fri May 18 2007 by the Taunton branch of Epilepsy Action, the UK’s leading member-led epilepsy charity.

The seminar, from 6.45pm until 8.00pm at the Syndicate Room in the Albemarle Centre, Albemarle Road, Taunton, will give an overview of epilepsy and offer advice on living with the condition.

Epilepsy Action meeting in Bristol

Epilepsy Action looks set to establish a Bristol branch following a meeting to gauge levels of support.

Helen King, Epilepsy Action’s regional services manager in the south west said: “With a population of 400,000 there are at least 3,000 people with epilepsy in the city who could benefit from a local branch. Such a group will further allow us to improve public awareness of epilepsy and reduce the prejudice and ignorance that surrounds the condition.”
