New Epilepsy Action branch in Dorchester and Weymouth

Epilepsy Action, the UK's largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is setting up a branch in Dorchester and Weymouth to support people in the local area affected by epilepsy.

The launch will take place on Monday 16 May at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester Baptist Church, Bridport Road, Dorchester. It will run from 6.00pm until 8.00pm and is open to everyone with an interest in epilepsy. Following the launch, the branch will meet on the third Monday of every month at the Dorford Centre from 6.00-8.00pm.

Epilepsy Action Branch Member Of The Year Award in Salisbury

Janet Boxall, stalwart of the Salisbury Branch of Epilepsy Action, has won a national award in recognition of her work for the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.

The Epilepsy Action Branch Member of the Year Award will be presented to Janet on Wednesday 11 May at 6.30pm, at St Thomas’ House, St Thomas’ Square, Salisbury.  Richard Chapman, an Epilepsy Action trustee, will make the presentation. 

New Epilepsy Action branch in Southampton

Epilepsy Action, the UK's largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is setting up a branch in Southampton to support people in the local area affected by epilepsy. The branch has been developed in partnership with local epilepsy specialist nurse, Kim Morley.

The launch will take place on Tuesday 3 May at Friends Meeting House, 1a Ordnance Road, Southampton. It will run from 7.00pm until 9.00pm and is open to everyone with an interest in epilepsy. Following the launch, the branch will meet on the first Tuesday of every month at Friends Meeting House from 7.00 until 9.00pm.
