Epilepsy Action Wolverhampton Branch hosts summer fete

Epilepsy Action’s Wolverhampton Branch, part of the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a summer fete for people in the local area.

The fete will take place on Saturday 25 August 2012 from 2.00pm until 4.00pm at the Action for Independence Centre, 25-38 Albert Road, off Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton.

There will be a variety of activities for the family. These include a small bouncy castle for younger children, a fire engine, games and a barbeque.

Stoke-on-Trent epilepsy group pulls on its walking shoes

Members of the Stoke-on-Trent branch of national charity Epilepsy Action are preparing to pull on their walking shoes to support the charity.

The group is hosting a sponsored walk around Westport Lake Country Park, Tunstall, at 10.30am on Sunday 9 September. There are two walk routes. The first walk will take around an hour and a half and is suitable for children and wheelchair users. The second route will take two hours. Stewards will be along both routes to guide walkers. Refreshments are available at the park.
