Epilepsy advice and information for Merry Hill shoppers

Epilepsy Action's West Midlands Forum is holding and advice and information day on Saturday 29 August to support people affected by epilepsy in the area.

The event will take place from 9.00am onwards at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierley Hill. There will be a display stand with a variety of information available. Members of the West Midlands Forum will also be there to offer advice and information relating to epilepsy.

Epilepsy group meeting and anniversary celebration in Leamington Spa

The Warwick District branch of Epilepsy Action is to hold a meeting on Monday 8 June, to support people affected by epilepsy in the area.

The meeting will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Odd Fellows Hall, Warwick Street, Leamington Spa and is open to anyone with an interest in epilepsy.

The branch will be celebrating its 28 year anniversary at the meeting.  Branch member, Andy Fincham, will be presented with an award to recognise his hard work and contribution to the branch. Andy, who has epilepsy, has been an active member for almost 20 years.

Wolverhampton man takes on steep climb for epilepsy

Craig Wright from Underhill is aiming to conquer the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, to raise vital funds for national charity, Epilepsy Action.

Craig will be attempting the challenge over three days, 1-3 May, which will involve eight hours of walking, mostly up a very steep gradient. Ben Nevis, located near Fort William, Scotland, has some awe-inspiring views and attracts an estimated 100,000 trekkers a year.
