Stoke-on-Trent epilepsy group walks its way to charity ‘wonga’

20 May, 2010

The Stoke-on-Trent branch of national charity Epilepsy Action is preparing to raise serious ‘wonga’ for the charity by hosting a sponsored walk through Bathpool Park.

The one and a half mile Epilepsy Action Wonga Walk takes place at the park in Kidsgrove at 11.00am on Sunday 13 June during National Epilepsy Week (13-19 June).  It is hoped the event will encourage walkers to learn more about epilepsy and inspire those affected by the condition to get involved with the branch.  The branch is hoping to raise £250 to help support people with epilepsy.
