Elizabeth Ellis (Betty), a member of the Scarborough branch of Epilepsy Action, has won a national award in recognition of her work for the UK’s leading epilepsy charity.
The Epilepsy Action Branch Member of the Year Award will be presented to Betty, the Scarborough vice chair, at an Epilepsy Action seminar on Tuesday, May 22 2007 at 7pm at the Westborough Methodist Church, Scarborough.
Betty, who has been a branch member for many years, has been an active fundraiser for Epilepsy Action and shown loyal dedication to the charity and its work.
