Last chance to sign up to Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k
Time is running out to sign up for the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k road race on Sunday 25 March. Entries for the event, which raises money for West Yorkshire-based national charity Epilepsy Action, close on Tuesday 20 March. Almost 1,000 people have already accepted the 6.2 mile challenge. Race organisers are also looking for volunteers to marshal at the event.
The runners will follow a 10k route, from Centenary Square to Frizinghall and back. The route is mostly flat and will be closed to all traffic. The course is suitable for first-time runners and elite runners looking to achieve a personal best time.
The race has become a permanent fixture on the charity’s events calendar since it began in 2008. Since then, it has raised over £125,000 for Epilepsy Action and almost 3,500 runners have crossed the finish line.
