Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a conference in Doncaster focussing on epilepsy lifestyle issues, and to provide support to people with an interest in the condition.
The event will take place on Saturday 13 November at Doncaster Trades Conference Centre, Frenchgate Centre, Doncaster, from 9.30am to 4.00pm.
A Hull woman, who believes she developed epilepsy after drinking alcohol excessively, is preparing to raise serious ‘wonga’ for Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy charity.
Natasha Colley has organised an 18-mile Epilepsy Action Wonga Walk from Sutton to Hornsea, at 9.00am on Sunday 30 October. Natasha will be walking with her family and two four-legged friends, dogs Chance and Raynor, but says anyone is welcome to join them.
A stampede of reindeer is set to take over Saltaire this festive season, as national charity Epilepsy Action launches its first ever Reindeer Stampede. The 5k fun run will raise funds to support almost half a million people affected by epilepsy in the UK.
