The Bradford 10k 2025 route…

The Bradford 10k 2025 route will be the flattest route to date and will take runners through the beautiful new pedestrianised streets of Bradford City Centre, up to the Midland Hotel, past the back of the Broadway, up to Bolton Road, leading through to Canal Road. Runners will follow Canal Road as far as Shipley, then head back on themselves back to City Hall where they will receive their well-earned medals!

Bradford 10k 2025 t-shirts…

"I find both physical and mental benefit from the exercise, as well as getting to meet and socialise with other runners. The Bradford 10k is extremely well organised, with closed roads and plenty of support, plus the bonus of a medal and T-shirt. Since my first event, I've participated six times, collecting T-shirts and medals along the way. I’m excited to run again in 2025, especially in the year that Bradford is City of Culture."

FAQ

  • I signed up. Now what?

    Thank you for registering!

Your race number (bib) will be posted out to you in the two weeks before the event.

If an event t-shirt was included in your registration, this will be posted out to you in the two weeks before the event, starting 19th May.

  • Is a t-shirt included in my order?

If you registered before 15th January, our introductory offer of a free t-shirt is included in your entry fee.

If you registered after 15th January, you will have had the option to purchase an event t-shirt.

If you’re not sure, please check your entry confirmation for the date you registered, and if you’re still not sure, please email us at bradford10k@epilepsy.org.uk.

  • I moved house since registering. What do I do?

Please email us before 5th May at bradford10k@epilepsy.org.uk with your old and new address, and we will update your record.

  • What if my race number hasn't arrived?

All race numbers will be posted ahead of the event. If you haven’t received yours by Friday 30th May, please email bradford10k@epilepsy.org.uk to let us know.

  • Can I give my someone else my race number?

Please do not give your race number to anyone else. It’s crucial that we know who exactly is running on the day. Anyone found to be running with someone else’s race number will be disqualified and banned from future races.

  • Will there be a baggage store?

Due to increased security measures, we do have a bag drop available for runners, but pleased be advised that we will need to search every single bag before accepting it. If you are able to come without a bag, that would be preferable. We will only accept bags with the tag from your race number so please don’t remove this before race day.

  • How do I get there?

The race village will be located at Centenary Square in Bradford, which is accessible by public transport and car. There are several parking options around the city centre, though we would strongly encourage lift shares with trusted people where possible to avoid congestion and help us be a greener event.

  • Where can I park?

There are several public car parks close to the event village in Centenary Square, but the Broadway Shopping Centre is the closest and has hundreds of available spaces. Runners will be offered an all day discounted parking pass for this car park through our email communications.

  • What's the route for 2025?

The route for 2025, our flattest yet, can be viewed at https://gb.mapometer.com/running/route_5585242.html

  • Will there be pacers?

Yes – the wonderful Northern Pacing Volunteers will be once again gracing the streets of Bradford to help you reach your time goal in the 10k!

  • Can I wear headphones?

For safety reasons, only bone conducting earphones are allowed. As the Bradford 10k takes place on large closed roads, it is crucial that you are able to hear any marshals in an emergency.

  • What's the latest I can sign up?

If the event is not already sold out, we will stop taking entries at 9pm on Sunday 25th May.

And we will no longer be selling event t-shirts after 9pm on Sunday 18th May, though you may be able to buy one after the event if we have some left.

There will be no entries available on the day.

  • Can I fundraise for a different charity?

Of course! We would strongly encourage you to use the Bradford 10k as an opportunity to fundraise for a charity close to your heart.

If you would like to fundraise for Epilepsy Action, you can do so via https://justgiving.com/epilepsyaction.
