We exist to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

My greatest achievement is...

Despite having 50-60 attacks a day I have worked in full time employment since I was 22 in managerial and executive PA roles, gaining the respect of my colleagues who see me for my skills not my disability. I've lived all over the country, working in London theatres, the fashion industry, the public sector and now work for the fastest growing company in the UK. It may not seem like much but when you consider I missed about 2 years of schooling because of hospital visits, and lose a fair bit of the day I'm quite proud of my acheivements! Its not easy as because of my epilepsy it is one of the first things I have to say to people about me, but hopefully due to my hard work and determination it doesn't take people long to move it way down the list of things people say about me. I also take part in Amateur Dramatics on stage as well as off, sing in public and take life by the horns on a daily basis!!!
