Free course for people with epilepsy in Omagh to develop IT and personal development skills

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, has awarded funding to its Omagh Branch to run an IT and personal development course for people with epilepsy. The Omagh Branch is the first Epilepsy Action branch in the UK to be awarded funds from the charity’s ‘Diamond Projects’ scheme.  

Epilepsy & Depression workshop in Belfast to help those with epilepsy

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is hosting a seminar on epilepsy and depression. Leading Professor Mike Kerr, Honorary Professor of Neuropsychiatry at Cardiff University, will be speaking at the event.

The workshop will take place on Saturday 17 September at The Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, from 10.00am to 3.00pm.

Epilepsy Action joins Llanelli Festival fun

Epilepsy Action, the UK’s largest member-led epilepsy organisation, is taking part in the networking day at Llanelli Festival.

The event takes place on Saturday 20 August from 9.00am until 4.00pm at the Selwyn Samuel Centre in Llanelli.

Local Llanelli Branch officers will be on hand to provide information about epilepsy to festival revellers. Information will be available to take away on a range of subjects.
