Epilepsy Action Cymru is holding a seminar on epilepsy, during the Victorian Festival.
The seminar will take place on 26 August from 10.00am until 4.00pm at the Metropole Hotel, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells. There will be a general awareness talk on epilepsy at 2.00pm. The event is aimed at anyone with an interest in epilepsy.
UK-wide charity Epilepsy Action is celebrating a new identity in Northern Ireland. The launch of Epilepsy Action Northern Ireland took place at Stormont yesterday (Monday 4 July).
Nursery school children at Ysgol Bryn Clwyd, Llandyrnog, have beaten off competition from over 220 other schools and colleges to be crowned category winners of National Doodle Day 2011.
Children were encouraged to draw a doodle and submit it into the annual National Doodle Day competition. The competition gives schools the chance to win vouchers to spend on equipment and resources, while also raising money for national charity Epilepsy Action.
