I was born with good health.
But when I was 7 years old I had a seizure in the kitchen then another on the same day.
I was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with epilepsy they gave me medication and sent me home. On the way home I lost my eyesight and started losing it daily. I also started losing my balance and judgement of depth, losing my eyesight at least ten times a day without fail, falling over and smashing my head off things became the daily ritual.
I missed most of school and the times I went I was called Humpty Dumpty they couldn't do surgery on me and it was this way every day for ten years until I was 17 we finaly got medication that worked I was so shocked and relieved I could see and go anywhere without a caretaker I could go to sleep without fearing that I might die and not wake up.
I'm 25 years old now and I'm happy I never thought I would see for a whole day ever again but thank god I was wrong I knew one girl who was not as lucky and died from a seizure.
If your epilepsy is out of control and you think life is painful and unfair I hope my story has given you hope I'm doing fundraising events now.
