Kami Kountcheva | We’re creating a big tech review guide – and we need your help to review any apps, alarms, monitors and wearables you’ve used!

But with so many different products, offering so many different options, and with epilepsy being such a wide-ranging condition, it’s often hard to know where to begin, what to choose and which products work well.

This is why Epilepsy Action is working on creating an Epilepsy Technology Guide, aiming to offer clear descriptions and reviews from the community.

But we need your help. If you’ve used any tech to help you with your or a loved one’s epilepsy, we want to hear from you.

Krishan Srinivasa, health improvement coordinator at Epilepsy Action, explained: “We know that finding the right devices and apps to help manage your epilepsy can be overwhelming. Descriptions are often confusing and full of jargon, and don’t give you the information you need. There are also hundreds of options on the market and it would take forever to research them all.

“We would like to bring all of that information into one place, with reviews and easy-to-understand descriptions of all the different options. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

“If you’ve used any technology to support your epilepsy, including apps, wearables, monitors or devices, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

“Your feedback will help us identify what works and what doesn’t. It will also help other people with epilepsy make the right choices when they are deciding which devices and apps to use.”
