Tonight’s episode of Channel 4’s Inside Birmingham Children’s Hospital to feature teenage boy’s epilepsy surgery

Jack was diagnosed with epilepsy around age 13 and has not been able to control his seizures through other treatments. The documentary follows his journey through epilepsy surgery, from tests and consultations to the surgery itself.

The programme explores the benefits, side-effects and risks of epilepsy surgery and will draw attention to the way Jack’s epilepsy affects his life.
