A little about me…

After being diagnosed with epilepsy, I quickly realised how little peer support was available in the North East. That experience inspired me to start the Newcastle Epilepsy Support group.

My aim was simple: to create the kind of community I needed when I was first diagnosed—a safe, welcoming, judgement-free space where people can share their experiences, find understanding, build connections, and remember that they never have to face epilepsy alone.
