Uttlesford ign

Epilepsy Family Support Uttlesford was founded by a local mum after her young son was unexpectedly diagnosed with epilepsy. The group was created to bring together families and individuals affected by epilepsy in a welcoming, understanding, and supportive environment.

We know epilepsy can feel isolating, whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to connect with people who truly understand. Our monthly support group offers a relaxed space to chat over a cup of tea or coffee, share experiences, ask questions, or simply listen—there’s never any pressure to speak.

Our aim is to reduce isolation, build friendships, and create a supportive local community for parents, carers, family members, adults living with epilepsy, and anyone whose life has been touched by the condition. Together, we’re helping to ensure that no one in Uttlesford has to face epilepsy alone or travel far to find understanding.

A Safe, Friendly & Understanding Space For Families Affected By Epilepsy
