Can I walk this or does it have to be run or jogged? Secondly how strict is your minimum fundraising amount? I am currently doing an abseil for the Epilepsy Society that takes place on Sept 2nd so it doesn’t give me long to fundraise for this one and might not raise enough to take part by the deadline.

Hi Avril

The Royal Parks half marathon organisers state that the course is designed for runners. This is due to time limits on road closures. For information on course timings please visit https://royalparkshalf.com/faq/pre-race-questions/

When signing up for a Royal Parks place with Epilepsy Action you agree to the terms and conditions which include raising £295 excluding Gift Aid. If by race day you have not reached this target we would ask that you continue to fundraise after the event and notify the fundraising team of this. The minimum sponsorship target is set to ensure vital funds are raised to support those affected by epilepsy and that the cost of the place is covered.

We hope to welcome you to the team soon – The Fundraising Events Team
