Volunteer survey 2025

Our annual volunteer survey is one of the most important ways we gain feedback to develop, improve and plan for the future.  We are delighted to share with you our key findings from 2025.

We launched our annual volunteer survey in September 2025 and the overall positive response to the survey from our volunteers was reassuring.  We felt happy to know we are continuing to provide a supportive and consistent volunteer experience.

The results showed us we are in line, and in some cases exceeding, the national picture for volunteering.  We have taken all the feedback into account and will use it to shape our future plans.

Feedback from the survey showed us our volunteers feel:

Appreciated
Supported
Empowered

Our volunteers said they were happy Epilepsy Action:

  • Gives thanks and shows appreciation to volunteers and everything that they do for the charity
  • Makes volunteers feel valued and part of the Epilepsy Action community
  • Supports volunteers and responds to questions in a timely manner
  • Creates a supportive environment where volunteers feel able to be themselves
  • Helps volunteers feel valued for the contributions they make
*
Would recommend Epilepsy Action as a place to volunteer
*
Feel we are a diverse and inclusive charity
*
Said volunteering has improved their wellbeing
*
Feel supported as a volunteer

In 2026 we will be working on volunteer suggestions to:

  • Highlight existing opportunities for growth
  • Enhance feedback and development
  • Increase training and technical support
  • Foster community and peer support
  • Improve systems and accessibilty
