What Epilepsy Action can achieve with your donation

Your gift will help protect vital services for people with epilepsy.

Together we are the thousands of people with epilepsy, their families, friends and those who work to support them.

Donate today and help the fight for a better, fairer future for all the people with epilepsy.

We won’t stop until everyone with epilepsy has the respect, fairness and understanding they deserve.

Give through your wage

Donating through your salary (Payroll giving) is a simple, tax-effective way to donate to Epilepsy Action directly from your salary.

The scheme works by deducting your donation from your gross salary (before tax) – so every £1 you give will only cost you 80p (or 60p if you’re a higher rate tax payer). This means that your gift will go even further, supporting more people affected by epilepsy when they need it most.

You can donate as much as you like and you can stop your donation at any time.

For employees

Setting up a donation from your salary is easy – just simply complete the online form and submit. Every time you’re paid, your payroll Department will deduct the agreed amount from your salary and send it directly to us.

For employers

Setting up a payroll giving scheme is an excellent way for your company to support the causes that your employees care about. You can also match donations to support your corporate and social responsibility programme.

To offer the scheme to your employees you need to be registered with a Payroll Giving Agency (PGA). Its free and simple to set up. To find out more visit the HMRC website.

Payroll giving is available to everyone who pays UK income tax and is employed by a UK organisation.

Leave a gift in your will

A gift in your will, no matter what size, could transform the lives of people with epilepsy for generations to come. It will bring an end to stigma, increase awareness and help people get the treatment they need to live a life free from seizures.
