"We will definitely be back next year. A really well organised race and an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Lovely friendly family vibe. So festive with carol singers, a brass band and super supportive and bell jingling marshals! Not to mention the antlers and mince pie."
"Thank you so much for a fantastic event. Brilliantly organised and huge fun for all the family. The volunteers and marshals were awesome and really got into the spirit. Many thanks to the choir and brass band also, who kept us very jolly."

I just wanted to thankyou so much for a fantastic event today. Brilliantly organised and huge fun for all the family. The volunteers and marshals were awesome and really got into the spirit. Many thanks to the choir and brass band also, who kept us very jolly. We love the medals as well. My 15 & 8 year old already want to do it again next year! Hope you are all thawed out and relaxed now!

Just wow! Stampede newbies 2017 but will definitely be back next year. A really well organised race and an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Lovely friendly family vibe. So festive with park decorations, carol singers, a brass band and super supportive and bell jingling marshalls! Not to mention the antlers and mince pie. My girls and I had a wonderful race which was accessible and safe but not without its challenges! Well done everyone involved. Hope you raised lots of funds.

Hi just wanted to check for the 5k reindeer stampede. What age do kids need to be supervised please if at all? My boy is 13 and does a 5k in 30 mins, I’m pregnant and not able to run and couldn’t keep up with him even before that 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi Claire,

Unfortunately children up to the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult. Really sorry if that disappoints you and your son.

Hi,

Will there be bag drop facilities on 2 December?

Many thanks,
Cris

Hi Cris,

Unfortunately there won't be bag drop facilities There is a car park nearby where you might be able to leave belongings if you feel comfortable.

Sorry about that.

Hi, my daughter is 7 and would like to do the 5km with me, but it looks like children have to be at least 8 to enter. Are children under 8 allowed to do the 5km? Thanks
