Epilepsy Action regularly receives many requests from individuals, organisations and internal colleagues wishing to access our contacts for research purposes. It is our intention to co-operate as far as possible with these requests providing they fall within the our own aims and objectives and would contribute to our achievements.
Epilepsy Action also needs to be satisfied that the research is bone fide and would not compromise ourselves. Epilepsy Action supports non-laboratory research and seeks to maximise research opportunities by working closely with other research bodies. All personal client details are confidential to Epilepsy Action and are stored securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
- Access to Epilepsy Action's Non-Financial Resources
Epilepsy Action has a very large membership database, comprising details of clients, donors, professionals etc. These details can be made available, in accordance with our Data Protection Policy, for bone fide researchers wishing to carry out research into epilepsy. There may be a charge for this service.
