The Epilepsy Action Helpline

“I felt understood and validated and that I learned more about my condition”

Our award winning UK helpline offers free, confidential advice to anyone affected by epilepsy.

We are open 8:30 – 5:00 Monday to Friday and 10 – 4 on Saturdays. You can also send us your questions at any time.

1 to 1 support through befriending

The service matches you with a friendly volunteer for regular chats either online or by phone.

Anyone affected by epilepsy who is over the age of 18 and lives in the UK can access the befriending service if they are feeling lonely, isolated or just need someone to talk to.

Our support groups are a great way of connecting with others who have experiences of epilepsy, in a safe and relaxed environment.

We have a range of in-person and online groups and are also connected to a network of independent groups.
