In the 2010 Spending Review, the government announced changes to some disability benefits. This included plans to stop paying the mobility component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) to disabled people living in residential care.
The Low Review has now been set up to look at how the mobility needs of people living in residential care are met and funded. This is an independent review lead by Lord Low of Dalston.
The review will report to the government in October, and is now looking for people to share their views and experiences.
