Nicole Horn

Hi, my name is Nicole, I am 17 years old. I have suffer from photosensitive epilepsy for almost 12 years now.

I had my first seizure when I was 6 to 7 years old in elementary school. I kept falling on my knees and kept scrapping them really bad. I still have the scars from all those times. I was take to hospital in 3rd grade after having two seizures in one day, which was scary for my mother and I. When my mother passed away I kept having seizures non-stop in the school halls and on the bus from depression I still have today.

I gladly stopped having seizures at age 15 and now I´m hoping that my next EEG next month is going to show that everything is normal.

Now I am in high school and taking music and health so I hopefully become a music teacher or a nurse midwife like my grandmother!
