We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Gail Hand

I had my first witnessed seizure in 2002 however it was diagnosed as dissociative disorder because the neurologist didn't think someone of my age( 40 in 2002) could develop epilepsy. The next seizure a few months later damaged my short term memory quite severely resulting in my having to leave my job.I did get another job but not at the same level ultimately being made redundant because of the downturn in the economy.

It would be great if I could get talking to people who have memory problems and who manage to work because I am determined to get back out there.
