We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Hi, my name is Rebecka and I have grand mal seizures.

My epilepsy, I suppose journey, started in junior high school. I just remember one day when I was 14, alone at home, everything went dark. I remember short moments walking around the apartment and feeling really rubbish, apparently I called my mum and dad and said in a very drunkenly way, I don’t feel so well, and hung up. I don’t remember that but it freaked my parents up so when they got home they took me to the emergency room and they said after some tests that it was a seizure.

I would like too, like everyone else, to have a cure and say goodbye to epilepsy forever. I do live an ordinary life and don’t let my epilepsy get in my way. I lived abroad on my own for 4 months and want to enjoy as much as possible in my life. I will travel, live and be adventurous no matter what epilepsy says!
