We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

I am very proud to say my name is Paris and I am 17 years old, I live with my parents Julee and graham and my younger sister britanny.  I have uncontrolled epilepsy and have had it since I was 4 years old.  I have tried lots of anti epileptic medications and an currently taking 4 types.  I have a vagel nerve stimulator and have tried steroid treatment and the ketogenic diet in the past to control my seizures none of which helped.  I wear a head guard to stop me injuring my head when I fall and I sometimes need to use a wheelchair.  Sometimes I can go days without sleep and just be in a daze. I have been to great ormand street hospital twice for tests and the young epilepsy centre in Surrey.  I long for a cure or some way of controlling my seizures so I can live an everyday kind of life like most people.
