We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Phil Lavender

I keep all my friends and family in the loop when it comes to epilepsy because I am with one or other of them all the time, and they need to know because they understand.

I have however had lot of bad times at work, I am a temp only through necessity, time after time after a week I get laid off and get given a flimsy untrue reason! Eg I told my head of department about my epilepsy on the Thursday by Friday I was gone, this is not the 1st time either, and the head of department had epilepsy as a child! Schools talk about being happy to accept disabled staff but they're not!
