We fight to improve the lives
of everyone affected by epilepsy

Amy Bassett

My name is Amy Bassett, I am 22 years old, I live in South Wales, I study Psychology with The Open University and I have had Epilepsy for about 4 and a half years now. In July 2013 I ended up in hospital on two occasions after going into status epilepticus. My seizures are still uncontrolled and my treatment is still ongoing but this picture is of me and family and friends at the top of Pen y Fan (the highest peak in South Wales) a walk we completed about a month after my second stay in hospital to raise money and awareness for Epilepsy sufferers and their families. It was an extremely proud moment for me.
